"4 beat break"

This is the hand signal for a 4 beat/bar break - we can use this in all of our grooves, by all of our leaders. The leader will signal this is going to happen in advance, and then count 4 beats before it happens. All of the band then stops for 4 beats/bar, and then starts again where they left off (unless told by the leader otherwise).
